  • Campus Y offers multiple opportunities for education, mentorship, and advocacy.

  • City Faces is a program run by WashU students that works with children, teenagers, and young adults living in the Clinton-Peabody public housing neighborhood in St. Louis.

  • Learning Center services are designed to mentor students, help them develop the life-long skill of 鈥渓earning how to learn,鈥 to facilitate their ability to excel in their coursework, and to stimulate independent thinking through persistent coaching.

  • Gephardt offers numerous service-learning opportunities, including Books and Basketball, K-12 Connections, and Hawthorn InvestiGirls.

  • Members International Honor Society in Education take part in service projects.

  • Ni帽os Cambios Puertas Volunteer Program was founded in 1996 to provide tutoring and mentoring to Latino youth in St. Louis.

  • Out of the Blue is a WashU community service group committed to promoting childhood literacy.

  • TESLA mobilizes college students to establish dynamic after-school clubs for for underserved youth to build STEAM literacies and critical thinking capacity through hands-on challenges.

  • Teach English is a Second Language Learning Club that pairs undergraduate tutors with other undergraduate students, graduate students, and university employees to help them improve their English.
