Dr. Lisa Gilbert, Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Educational Studies program, was awarded a $2,500 curricular innovation grant from WashUâs .
âInspired by WashUâs vision of purpose-vision leadership, the Educational Studies capstone course will focus on empowering graduating students to view themselves as changemakers in education,â said Gilbert. âBy leveraging the course to develop both character and capability, our Educational Studies majorsâ readiness for careers in policy, research, and practice will be enhanced.â
